Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Ouarzazate - Skoura - Dades valley

4 days tour from Ouarzazate to Merzouga starts with a pick up from the airport in Ouarzazate. Thereafter, we drive you along a great road of the thousand Kasbahs. Before reaching Dades valley, we stop in Skoura to explore the palm grove.

Also, you will visit the Kasbah of Ameridil there. It is the largest and most decorated Kasbah in this oasis. After that, we continue driving through the Rose Valley towards your hotel/Riad in Dades valley.

Day 2: Dades Valley - Todra Gorges – Merzouga Desert

Leaving Dades Valley is after breakfast towards Toudra Gorges. We will drive about 14 km into the mountains and towns of Tinghir. When we arrive in Todra Gorges, you will walk through the canyon walls that are 300 meters high.

Then, we will head through the great southern oases to the Sahara. It is a place of peace. When we arrive at Merzouga, you will ride camels through the great sandy dunes to a desert camp.

Indeed, this will be one of the most exciting and inspiring experiences during 4 days tour from Ouarzazate to Merzouga. On your way, you will occasionally have stops to enjoy a magical view of the sunset.

After dinner in your camp, you will enjoy music with the staff of the camp. Furthermore, you will observe the stars, shooting stars and the Milky Way, Overnight at Luxury Camp.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert - Draa valley - Ouarzazate.

Today, you will get up early for a spectacular sunrise. Then, you have breakfast and come back by camel or car. From Merzouga, we will pass by the town of Rissani. It offers is located in the Tafilalet region, where there is the largest oasis in the country.

Besides, we will cross a vast area of mountains and acacia trees towards Draa Valley. Draa Valley is Morocco’s longest river. Afterwards, we, have lunch nearby the palm grove of Agdez and the Anti-Atlas Mountains. Next, we are going to arrive in Ouarzazate in the late afternoon and spend the night in Riad.

Day 4: Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou- Ouarzazate airport.

Starting this day is after breakfast. Thus, there will be a visit to the beautiful Kasbah of Taourirt, which is located at the eastern end of the city. Furthermore, we will head to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. It is a World Heritage Site and a prime location for filmmakers. Many foreign and domestic films were shot in the Kasbah, like Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator and The Mummy. Finally, after visiting the Kasbah, we will drop you off at your Riad or the airport in Ouarzazate. Then, we end 4 days tour from Ouarzazate to Merzouga.
