Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah - Ouarzazate - Dades Valley

On this first day, we will pick you up at 8 am from your accommodation. After breakfast, we will depart to the High Atlas crossing via the pass of Tizi N’Tichka. Then, we will make some stops to enjoy panoramic views. Besides, we can visit the Argan oil cooperative to discover the process of making oil Argan.

Locals who work there will explain the Argan benefits and usages. Later, we will continue driving to the fortified town of Ait Ben Haddou. You will explore its Kasbah that was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987.

In this wonderful place, they produced famous films such as Gladiator and Jewel of the Nile. You will have lunch in the kasbah, and we will continue t our way to Ouarzazate. This town is considered the gate of the desert.

It is also the place from which major expeditions and trekking trips begin. When we are in Ouarzazate, we will visit Taourirt Kasbah. Then, we will continue our way to Rose Valley and pass via the palm grove of Skoura and BoumalneDades. The Dinner and the overnight are in Dades Gorges in Boumalne town. + Breakfast.

Day 2: Dades Valley - Todra Gorges - Erfoud - Merzouga

After breakfast, we will drive along a road with many Kasbahs. They are all different from each other. This is one of the amazing things you will admire in 3 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga.

We will also have stops for pictures, and then we arrive at the Todra Gorges. The channel of the Todra River formed high rock walls, offering a wonderful view. This place is an ideal destination for climbers.

In Todra Gorges, you have free time for lunch and a visit before we drive towards the desert. We will pass by Erfoud city and reach the dunes of Merzouga dunes. After having tea and rest, you will enjoy a camel trip via the dunes to camp.

You will also enjoy the sunset view and take wonderful pictures on the top of the dunes. In your camp, you will have dinner and enjoy music with a local team + Breakfast.

Day 3: Merzouga - Draa Valley - Ouarzazate - Marrakech

Today, it is important to wake early to see the sunrise from the edge of the dunes. After that, you will have breakfast and shower and return on camels or by car.

Next, we will leave by desert to Rissaniand the Draa Valley. It offers huge palm trees oases. Before we will cross via the Amazigh or Berber villages of Alnif and Agdez, and then we stop to explore the Draa River.

Thereafter, we will arrive at Ouarzazate through the landscapes of the Atlas Mountains. In Ouarzazate, you can visit film studios. Here, you will see spectacular film stages and decorative workshops they use for filming.

Later, we will leave through the Tizi-N-T’ichka mountain pass with stops to enjoy the spectacular views again and arrive in Marrakech. Then, it will be the end of 3 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga.
