1st day: Arrive at Casablanca Airport
On this first day, we will transfer you from the airport to a hotel. Overnight is in Casablanca + Breakfast.
2nd day: Casablanca - Rabat
In Casablanca city, you will discover Hassan II Mosque. It is one of the largest global mosques. It overlooks the coastal Cornish. After, we will leave for Rabat city. Here, you will enjoy your day, visiting Rabat attractions, like Hassan Tower and Oudaya Kasbah. Then, you will check in to your Riad/Hotel in the Medina for a night + Breakfast.
3rd Day: Rabat - Meknes - Volubilis - Fes
Today, you will explore imperial cities. After breakfast in your Riad, we will travel to Fes via Meknes and Volubilis. Thus, Meknes is another imperial city in Morocco, known as the capital city of Moulay Ismail. It also has attractions you will visit, such as Bab Mansour, the SahrijSouani, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. After lunch there, we continue our way to the Roman city, Volubilis. It is where you will have a chance to explore original mosaics, Roman roads and ruins. Thereafter, we will pass by the Holy City of MoulayIdriss for pictures. We will finally arrive in Fes at the end of the afternoon. And then you check in to your Riad in the Medina. Overnight is at Riad + Breakfast.
4th Day: A Full-day Tour in Fes
When you have breakfast, you will have an explorative tour around Medina. Fes has been the oldest city in Morocco for more than 350 years. Besides, it is home to Karaouine University that is the oldest university in the world. Thus, you will visit many hidden attractions that only local people know about. Your guide will take you to visit many places like MoulayIdriss Mausoleum, the Nejjarine Fountains and the Tanneries. After lunch, you will visit Royal Palace and walk through the Jewish Quarter, the Mellah. There, you will visit one of the few synagogues in Morocco. Your guide will also take you to explore the ceramic factory, and then you enjoy a panoramic view of the old Medina. Overnight is at your Riad + Breakfast.
5th Day: Fes - Azrou - Midelt - Ziz Valley - Merzouga
After having breakfast in your Riad, you will explore new destinations in 12 days tour from Casablanca. Thus, we will travel towards the southeast to the Merzougadesert. On our way, you will see landscapes of the Middle Atlas and the High Atlas Mountains. The next stop will be in Cedar forest that is the largest one in the country. It is home to Barbarian apes. After lunch in Midelt, we will continue driving via the changing landscapes towards Errachidia City. Moreover, we drive along the Ziz Valley and the palm grove of Tafilalet. This region is the origin of the Alawite dynasty that is the current royal family of Morocco. Finally, we will arrive at Merzouga at the end of the afternoon. You will enjoy a welcoming mint tea before you check in to your Riad/Hotel.
6th Day: Merzouga - Camel trek – Overnight in Desert Luxury Camp
Today is one of the adventures days in 12 days tour from Casablanca. Hence, we will start a desert tour around the area after breakfast. Firstly, we will visit the Gnawa people in Khamlia. They were originally slaves from Sudan. You will enjoy and explore their music and lifestyle. Not far from Khamlia, we will drive to the lake of Merzouga where there are different birds.
You will also visit a local souk in Rissan. Rissani was a traditional town that was the origin home to the King family. And it is also the meeting point of the Caravans trading from Timbuktu and Mali. Here, you will have free time to explore the town and we come back to the village of Merzouga. In the afternoon, you will join an experienced camel guide and ride your camel through sandy dunes. You will spend one night in our desert camp and have dinner. Western baths are available at the camp for your convenience.
7th Day: Merzouga - Todra Gorges - Palm Groves of Tinghir - Dades Gorges
In the early morning, your camel guide will wake you up to watch the sunrise. After that, you will come back to the village of Merzouga by camel or car. On the way, you will enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the Erg Chebbi sandy dunes. After breakfast in your riad, we will continue 12 days tour from Casablanca. Thus, we will leave for Rissani, Tinghir, and then Todra Gorges. Todra presents Morocco’s highest and narrowest gorges. After lunch in these gorges, we will drive to Dades Valley, where you’ll see Rock Formations or Monkey Toes site. Overnight is in accommodation, overlooking the Dades valley.
8th Day: Dades Valley - Kasbah Amridil - Palm Groves of Skoura - Ouarzazate
Driving through the Dades Valley towards KalaatM’Gouna and Ouarzazate is after breakfast. Thus, the trail through Dades Valley is known as the trail of a thousand Kasbahs. It provides great opportunities to capture some of your best photos of the trip. Thereafter, we will stop at KalaatMgouna or Rose City. We will provide you with rosewater, which will keep your linen smelling fresh for the entire trip. Next, we continue to Ouarzazate via the Amridil Kasbah. It was home to one of the last Berber chieftains in the 18th century. Finally, we will stop in Ouarzazate for a night in Riad.
9th Day: Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah - Tizin’Tichka Pass - Marrakech
Once you have breakfast, we start our trip to the ksar of Ait Ben Haddou. UNESCO designated the kasbah a World Heritage Site in 1986. Besides, this stunning stage has been used as a film location for many movies like Gladiator, Obelix, The Mummy, and Jewel of the Nile. After visiting the kasbah, we will go to Marrakech via Tizi-N-Tichka road. It is the highest road in Morocco at 2.260m. In these mountains, we will make stops to enjoy and take pictures of villages and beautiful landscapes. Finally, Awe will be in Marrakech in the late afternoon. And you check in to your Riad in the Medina. Overnight is at Riad + Breakfast.
10th Day: Day trip to Essaouira From Marrakech
With, 12 days tour from Casablanca, you will explore the Wind City, Thus, we will travel to Essaouira after breakfast. We will be there in around two and a half hours, and then you can start exploring the city. Therefore, you will walk through the alleys of the Medina and view hundreds of handicrafts. Essaouira has been influenced by various civilizations, particularly the Portuguese occupation. Portuguese has left its mark on much of its architecture. However, it is still a little town with a rich past.
It is also “Jewel of the Atlantic” due to its size and distinctive, blue doors and washed walls. There, you will also visit the women’s co-operative of Argan oil. They extract the oil for its culinary, cosmetic and medicinal properties. A free Lunch is in the Medina or the port. In the afternoon, we will travel back to Marrakech for another night in the Riad + Breakfast.
11th Day: Full-day in Marrakech
On this day, you have a free day in Marrakech to visit all attractions. So, after breakfast in the Riad, you will enjoy exploring the sites with historical and cultural interest. You can visit the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian tombs, a beautiful Palace of Bahia and Ben Youssef Koranic School. Moreover, you can go through the Medina, and enjoy all the different artisans who make handicrafts. Then, you visit Jamaa El Fna Square and have lunch in a restaurant near the square. And in the afternoon, you can visit the gardens of Majorelle, and have visit Gueliz that is the new city of Marrakech. After dinner, you will have the option to walk through the square to enjoy magicians, storytellers and other activities. Overnight is in the same accommodation + Breakfast.
12th Day: Marrakech - Casablanca Airport
