10 Days Morocco Grand Tour that start from Fes to visit different famous cities in Morocco : berber villages, atlas moutains, desert & oasis, gorges with camel trekking and a night at sahara desert camp in Erg Chebbi.

1st day : Arrival to Fes

pick-up at the time estimated  by our guide and transfer to the hotel, well located and located in the medina, it is the historical part of Fes, and depending on the time of arrival, we find for you the opportunity to visit part of Fez.You spend the night at the hotel.

2nd day: full day to explore Fes 

You will have your lunch in your riad, then we begin a journey of exploration of the medina where you will visit the many hidden treasures that only the inhabitants of the place know. Fes has been the capital of Morocco for more than 350 years and is home to the University of Al Karaouine, the oldest university in activity in the world. Your guided tour will take you to the mausoleum of Moulay Idriss, the fountains of Nejjarine and the tanneries. After lunch, you will also visit the exterior of the Royal Palace and cross the famous Jewish district “Mellah”, where you will have the option to visit one of the few living synagogues of Morocco. Your visit to Fes includes a brief visit to the famous ceramic factory. then you will have the opportunity to enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the entire medina of Fes. Accommodation in your riad for the night.

3rd Day : Fes – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert

After a delicious breakfast in your riad, you will go to the south-east following the caravan routes towards Merzouga. During this unforgettable trip, you will have a glimpse of the Middle Atlas and the High Atlas Mountains. You will stop at the cedar forest, the largest in Morocco, above the Middle Atlas, where you can see barbarian monkeys. After lunch in Midelt, you will continue in the large open desert and notice how the landscape changes to reveal allusions to the desert as the city of Er Rachidia approaches. Your journey continues in the lush valley of Ziz and palm Tafilalet, famous for the culture of the date. This region is the foundation of the Alawite dynasty – the ruling royal family in Morocco. You will arrive in Merzouga at the end of the afternoon. You will also be welcomed with a glass of mint tea before registering in your riad.

4th day: Merzouga region – Camel trekking and overnight in Berber tent

breakfast at the riad, then you will embark on a journey of exploration of the region. You will visit the Gnawa – slaves from Sudan to discover their music and lifestyle. Not far from there is the lake of Merzouga, with its bird populations. You will also have the opportunity to visit the souk of Rissani, a traditional city that was at the origin of the ruling family in Morocco and the meeting place of the caravans that are trading until Timbuktu in Mali. Here you will see many hooded men and veiled women. Back to the village of Merzouga to rest, you will ride your camel in the afternoon, guided by an experienced camel driver to explore in the sand of the Merzouga Sea. The night will be in our desert camp, where you will have dinner. For your convenience, the camp is equipped with Western bathrooms.

5th Day : Merzouga Desert – Todra Gorges – Palm Groves of Tinghir – Dades Gorges

Get up Early in the morning, your camel guide will wake you up to look at what might be the best sunrise of your life. After sunrise, you will return to the village of Merzouga. En route, you can not fail to appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi sand dunes, which change throughout the day. After breakfast in your riad, you will leave for the Rissani, Tinghir and Todra Gorge – the highest and narrowest gorge in Morocco. After lunch in the heart of the gorge, we will cross the Dades Valley, where you can see the majestic sandcastles and the amazing rock formations known as “monkeys”. Accommodation for the night will be in a chic hotel overlooking the Dades Valley.

6th day: Valley of Dades – Kasbah Amridil – Palm groves of Skoura – Ouarzazate

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we will cross the Dades Valley towards Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazat. The road through the Dades Valley is the path taken by the thousand kasbahs – offering many opportunities to take some of your best photographs of the trip. We will stop at Kalaat Mgouna, “the city of roses”, to buy rose water, which will give your laundry a good smell long after the end of your trip. We continue to Ouarzazate by the Kasbah Amridil, one of the last Berber leaders of the eighteenth century. Today, the Kasbah is the home of many Glaoui. At night, you will stop at Ouarzazat.

7th Day : Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Tizi n’Tichka Pass – Marrakech

After a delicious morning breakfast at the riad, we start our journey to our road to reach the ksar (fortified village) of Ait Ben Haddou where we will visit the famous Kasbah (declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1986). Many famous films have been shot in this spectacular stage, including Gladiator, Obelix, The Mummy, The Jewel of the Nile, Sahara with Penélope Cruz … etc.

After visiting the kasbah we will go to Marrakech, we will see the port of Tizi Ntichka, that. with 2.260m is the highest point of our country. We will enjoy the beautiful scenery from the viewpoints on the way and also make a few stops to take pictures of Berber villages in the late afternoon and settle in your riad in the medina. Night at the riad.

8th: day in Essaouira

After a delicious breakfast in your riad, you will start your trip to the coastal city of Essaouira. Go after about 2 1/2 hours to start exploring the city. Stroll through the narrow streets of the medina and admire hundreds of handicrafts. This “wind city” attracts surfers from all over the world. Essaouira has known many civilizations – including the Portuguese occupation, which affects much of its architecture – however, it remains a small village with a lot of history. Because of its size, its characteristic blue doors and washed walls, it is also considered the “jewel of the Atlantic” of Morocco. You will also visit the women’s argan cooperative. Here they extract the oil that is famous for its culinary, cosmetic and medicinal properties. your lunch will be free in the medina or in the port. In the afternoon, you will return to Marrakech.you will spend the night at the riad.

9st Day : full free day in Marrakech

full day in Marrakech: After breakfast at the riad, you will enjoy sites of historical and cultural interest, including Koutoubia Menaret; the Saadian tombs; the magnificent Bahia Palace and the Ben Youssef Koranic School. Finally, you end the day walking through the streets of the medina, admiring all the craftsmen who perform their work before arriving on the famous Jamaa El Fna square. Your lunch will be in a restaurant near the square, then in in the afternoon, visit the Majorelle gardens and tour to Gueliz – the new city of Marrakech. After dinner, you will have the opportunity to cross the square with magicians, storytellers, dentists and food vendors. You will spend the night in your riad.

10th day: Marrakech – Airport

After an early breakfast in your riad, we will drive you to the airport for your return flight and your end of service.
